特許料も値下げ

先日の商標の登録料だけでなく、特許料についても引き下げが検討されている。

　特許庁は１０日、特許の出願や維持にかかる料金を年内にも１０％程度引き下げる方針を明らかにした。商標の登録に必要な料金は２５％、更新料を２０％それぞれ引き下げる方針だ。２００８年以来、７年ぶりの引き下げで、今国会に改正法案を提出する。企業の負担を減らし、競争力を高めるのがねらいだ。

　企業内で発明された技術は、特許庁から新しいものだと認められると、最長２０年間、他社が勝手に使うことができない。企業は特許を取得する出願料や、権利の維持に特許料を支払っている。
